A new game begins in the 'Jumanji: The Next Level' movie trailer

Sony Pictures has just brought online the first trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level, the third chapter in the big screen franchise. As you can see for yourself in the player below, this one reveals a new twist to the body swapping jungle adventure.

In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game.

Jumanji: The Next Level stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin HartKaren GillanNick JonasAwkwafinaSer’Darius BlainMadison Iseman, Morgan Turner, Alex Wolff, with Danny Glover and Danny DeVito.

Directed by Jake Kasdan from a screenplay he wrote with Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg (based on the book by Chris van Allsburg), Jumanji: The Next Level is produced by Matt Tolmach, Jake Kasdan, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia with David Householter, Melvin Mar, Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinker, William Teitler, Ted Field, Mike Weber and Chris Van Allsburg serving as executive producers.

Look for Jumanji: The Next Level in theaters December 13.
