'A Quiet Place' trailer dares you to make a sound

Paramount Pictures has brought online the trailer for “A Quiet Place,” the new horror thriller from writer, director and star John Krasinski. Check it out in the player above.

A supernatural survival thriller, “A Quiet Place” follows a family trying desperately to survive in a world where terrifying creatures hunt anything they can hear. Those who have survived live by one rule: never make a sound.

Krasinski stars alongside his real life wife Emily Blunt with Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds playing their children.

Originally scripted by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, “A Quiet Place” was rewritten by Krasinski. It marks the third directorial feature from “The Office” star, following 2009’s “Brief Interviews with Hideous Men” and 2016’s “The Hollars”.

“A Quiet Place” hits theaters April 4, 2018.
