Adam McKay's Dick Cheney biopic 'Vice' set for December release

Following a great many paparazzi photos depicting leading man Christian Bale having undergone an intense physical transformation, Annapurna Pictures has officially titled Adam McKay‘s upcoming Dick Cheney biopic. Per an announcement this morning from the studio, “Vice” will hit the big screen on December 25th.

Formerly known only as the “Untitled Dick Cheney Project,” “Vice” explores the epic story about how a bureaucratic Washington insider quietly became the most powerful man in the world as Vice President to George W. Bush, reshaping the country and the globe in ways that we still feel today.

The ensemble cast of vice includes, in addition to Bale, Amy Adams, Steve Carrell, Sam Rockwell, Jesse Plemons, Alison Pill, Lily Rabe, Tyler Perry, Justin Kirk, Lisagay Hamilton, Shea Whigham and Eddie Marsan. The film is produced by Annapurna Pictures, Gary Sanchez and Plan B.

Although no official shots from the film have as of yet been released, the first “Vice” trailer is scheduled for release next Wednesday, October 3rd. Check back with Moviebill then for a first look.
