Meet Naomi Scott's Princess Jasmine

When the new movie hits theaters this weekend, Disney fans will have the chance to meet some of their favorites all over again. Playing the part of Princess Jasmine is Naomi Scott, who starred in the recent “Power Rangers” movie and who later this year will represent one third of the new “Charlie’s Angels”. In the player below, you can join Scott and costars Mena Massoud, Will Smith and Nasim Pedrad for a look behind the scenes of Agrabah’s beautiful and determined royal.

“Aladdin” is directed by Guy Ritchie from a screenplay by John August (“Dark Shadows,” “Big Fish”), based on the 1992 animated film “Aladdin,” in turn based on stories from “One Thousand and One Nights.”

Dan Lin (“The LEGO Movie”) produces “Aladdin” with Marc Platt (“La La Land”), Jonathan Eirich (“Death Note”) and Kevin De La Noy (“The Dark Knight Rises”) serving as executive producers.

Look for “Aladdin” to hit the big screen this Friday, May 24th. If you missed it, be sure to check out the full press conference with the entire “Aladdin” cast and crew, including a surprise opening performance by Academy Award winning composer and songwriter Alan Menken!
