Meet Will Smith's Genie in a new 'Aladdin' featurette

Tonight, a Disney animated classic comes to life as “Aladdin” flies to the big screen once again, this time in live action form! Following yesterday’s look at Naomi Scott’s Princess Jasmine, we’ve got another behind the scenes look at the Guy Ritchie film, this time focusing on Will Smith’s take on Genie with insight from stars Mena MassoudNaomi Scott and Smith himself. Check it out in the player below and make sure to scan the “Aladdin” movie poster with the Moviebill scanner in your Regal Cinemas app to unlock a certain magical treasure from the Cave of Wonders!

“Aladdin” is directed by Guy Ritchie from a screenplay by John August (“Dark Shadows,” “Big Fish”), based on the 1992 animated film “Aladdin,” in turn based on stories from “One Thousand and One Nights.”

Dan Lin (“The LEGO Movie”) produces “Aladdin” with Marc Platt (“La La Land”), Jonathan Eirich (“Death Note”) and Kevin De La Noy (“The Dark Knight Rises”) serving as executive producers.
