Marvel's first 'Black Widow' movie trailer strikes!

Marvel Studios has just released the first trailer for their latest big screen release. In the player below, you can take a look at the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Four launcher, Black Widow!

Scarlett Johansson, currently on the big screen in both Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story and in Taika Waititi‘s Jojo Rabbit, reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) in the action packed spy thriller. Joining her is Midsommar and Little Women star Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei (aka The Red Guardian) and Rachel Weisz as Melina.

Black Widow is the first of two Marvel Studios films hitting in 2020. It will be followed by Eternals, directed by Chloé Zhao (The Rider, Songs My Brother Taught Me), on November 6. Of course, the MCU isn’t going to be limited the big screen next year. In the fall, the first Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Solider is set to launch on the streaming service.

Directed by Cate Shortland (Lore, Berlin Syndrome) and produced by Kevin FeigeBlack Widow hits the big screen May 1, 2020. You can check out the film’s teaser poster below!
