Dakota Johnson gives her soul to the dance on a new 'Suspiria' poster
Are you prepared to give your soul to the dance? Amazon Studios wants to know as it has just released a new poster for the upcoming “Suspiria”. Inspired by Dario Argento‘s dazzling 1977 horror masterpiece, director Luca Guadagnino’s new take heads to theaters this fall. Guadagnino is best known for his recent hit “Call Me By Your Name,” which earned screenwriter James Ivory an Academy Award. As a darkness builds at the center of a world-renowned dance company, its artistic director (Tilda Swinton), a young American new to the troupe (Dakota Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Lutz Ebersdorf) become entangled in a bloody, sighing nightmare.
Johnson’s Susie is highlighted on the latest “Suspiria” poster and singled out as “The Protagonist”. You can also scroll through the gallery viewer below to see Swinton as Madame Blanc and a group shot that teases the film’s unearthly performance.
