Stuber trailer: Dave Bautista & Kumail Nanjiani tak the rideshare of their lives
Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani make for an unlikely pair in the first trailer for “Stuber,” a new action comedy from 20th Century Fox that sets the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star as an overheated cop and “The Big Sick” headliner as an unfortunate Uber driver who winds up getting caught up in the action. Check it out in the player below!
When a mild mannered Uber driver named Stu (Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he’s thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five star rating.
Directed by Michael Dowse, best known for the hockey comedy “Goon,” from a screenplay by Tripper Clancy, this action comedy from 20th Century Fox also stars Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Bautista’s fellow Guardian of the Galaxy, Karen Gillan. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley produce.
“Stuber” hits theaters July 12.
