Following a first trailer earlier this yearParamount Pictures has brought online a new look at the upcoming live action take on Dora the Explorer. Watch the new Dora and the Lost City of Gold trailer in the player below!

Directed by James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords, Muppets Most Wanted), Dora the Explorer is officially described as follows:

Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.

The Dora and the Lost City of Gold cast also includes Eugenio Derbez (Overboard, Instructions Not Included), Nicholas Coombe (Spy Kids: Mission Control, Midnight Sun), Madeleine Madden (Picnic at Hanging Rock, Tomorrow, When the War Began), Adriana Barraza (Babel, Amores Perros) and Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, Moana).

Look for Dora and the Lost City of Gold on the big screen August 9.
