Get fast and furious with seven new 'F9' character posters

It’s a busy week for the Fast and the Furious franchise as Universal Pictures counts down to Friday’s premiere of the all new F9 trailer. On the heels of a teaser poster and a clip from the trailer (click here to watch), Universal has now brought online seven new character posters that celebrate the new film’s diverse cast. In the gallery viewer below, you can check out designs featuring returning stars Vin Diesel as Dom, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Jordana Brewster as Mia, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Tyrese Gibson as Roman and Ludacris as Tej. There’s also a poster that introduces John Cena’s new, as of yet unnamed, character.

F9 continues a franchise that has already taken in more than $5 billion at the worldwide box office. F9 also features the return of Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren. What’s more, Justin Lin is back in the director’s chair. Lin, who made his franchise debut with 2006’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, went on to also helm the fourth film, Fast and Furious, in 2009, the fifth film, Fast Five, in 2011, and the sixth film, Furious Six, in 2013.

Check back this Friday for the first F9 trailer and catch the film on the big screen May 22.
