The 'Fast Saga' continues in a new 'F9' big game spot
Hot on the heels of the film’s first trailer, Universal Pictures has released a new look at F9. In the player below, you can take a look at a TV spot entitled “Hallelujah,” which debuted during the weekend’s big game.
F9 continues a franchise that has already taken in more than $5 billion at the worldwide box office. F9 sees the return of stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren. What’s more, Justin Lin is back in the director’s chair. Lin, who made his franchise debut with 2006’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, went on to also helm the fourth film, Fast and Furious, in 2009, the fifth film, Fast Five, in 2011, and the sixth film, Furious Six, in 2013. What’s more, Lin’s debut feature film, Better Luck Tomorrow, was made to retroactively serve as a franchise prequel, introducing Sung Kang’s Han.
Look for F9 to hit the big screen beginning May 22.
