Buckle up for three 'Ford v Ferrari' movie clips

Racing into theaters next week is Ford v Ferrari, a gripping true story from director James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma, Logan) that is sure to elicit some awards buzz in the months to come. Today, 20th Century Fox has released three new clips from the film. In the first, “Think Like Ferrari”, the Ford motor company has an innovative new idea to potentially drive up sales. In the second, “Happy Bill?”, you’ll get to meet Christian Bale’s top racer Carroll Shelby as well as his aggressive, anti-authoritarian attitude. Then, in the final clip, you can watch a touching moment between Shelby and his son, Peter (Noah Jupe).

Academy Award winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in Ford v Ferrari, based on the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

Scripted by Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth and Jason Keller, Ford v Ferrari stars, in addition to Damon and Bale, Jon Bernthal, Caitriona Balfe, Tracy Letts, Josh Lucas, Noah Jupe, Remo Girone, Ray McKinnon. Directed by James Mangold, it is produced By Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Mangold himself.
