Starring Gerard Butler (“300,” “Olympus Has Fallen”), Gary Oldman (“The Dark Knight,” “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”), Common (“Wanted,” “Suicide Squad”), Linda Cardellini (“Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Brokeback Mountain”) and Toby Stephens (“Lost in Space,” “13 Hours”), “Hunter Killer” is officially described as follows:

Deep under the Arctic Ocean, American submarine Captain Joe Glass (Butler) is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in the offing, threatening to dismantle the world order. With crew and country on the line, Captain Glass must now assemble an elite group of Navy SEALs to rescue the kidnapped Russian president and sneak through enemy waters to stop WWIII.

Directed by Donovan Marsh, “Hunter Killer” adapts the 2012 novel “Firing Point”. Keith cowrote the book with Wallace, a retired naval office. The screenplay has been adapted by Arne L. Schmidt and Jamie Moss with production of the film fully supported by the United States Navy.
