A ‘Glass’ teaser recalls James McAvoy's 'Split' personalities

Universal Pictures has just released a character-centric teaser trailer for writer and director M. Night Shyamalan‘s hugely anticipated “Glass”. This one centers on James McAvoy’s “Split” character, Kevin Wendell Crumb. You can check it out in the player above! It’s a safe bet that character teasers for Bruce Willis’ David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price will follow.

“Glass” also features the return of “Split” star Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke and “Unbreakable” stars Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard as Dunn’s son and Price’s mother, respectively. The film will also feature Golden Globe Award winner Sarah Paulson (“American Horror Story”) in an all-new role.

Following the conclusion of “Split,” “Glass” finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

Shyamalan and the cast of “Glass” are set to headline a panel at Comic-Con International San Diego this Friday, July 20. It sounds like the full trailer will debut online then as well, so check back soon!

“Glass” is produced by Shyamalan and Blumhouse Production’s Jason Blum, who also produced the writer/director’s previous two films for Universal. They produce again with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider, who executive produces.
