Meet the 'Gretel & Hansel' cast on five new character posters

In two weeks, Orion Pictures is inviting audiences to experience a new cinematic take on a classic Grimm fairy tale with Gretel & Hansel. The new film hails from director Osgood “Oz” Perkins and stars IT girl Sophia Lillis. Today, five new character posters have debuted online and you can check them all out in the gallery viewer below! If you missed the film’s first trailer, click here to watch.

A long time ago in a distant fairytale countryside, a young girl, Gretel (Lillis) leads her little brother (Sammy Leakey) into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil.

Gretel & Hansel also stars Alice Krige (The OAStar Trek: First Contact), Jessica De Gouw (Underground, Arrow) and Charles Babalola (Black MirrorThe Legend of Tarzan).

Scripted by Rob Hayes (Chewing Gum) and produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Upgrade) and Fred Berger (La La Land, Destroyer) on behalf of Automatik, Gretel & Hansel is executive produced by Sandra Yee Ling and Macdara Kelleher. Look for it to hit the big screen beginning January 31st.
