A new 'Gretel & Hansel' movie trailer is good enough to eat

Later this month, Orion Pictures is bringing to the big screen director Osgood “Oz” Perkins’ grim reimagining of a Grimm fairy tale. Gretel & Hansel, starring IT girl Sophia Lillis, has today revealed a new trailer. Check it out in the player below and, if you missed the film’s first trailer, click here to watch.

A long time ago in a distant fairytale countryside, a young girl, Gretel (Lillis) leads her little brother (Sammy Leakey) into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil.

Gretel & Hansel also stars Alice Krige (The OAStar Trek: First Contact), Jessica De Gouw (Underground, Arrow) and Charles Babalola (Black MirrorThe Legend of Tarzan).

Scripted by Rob Hayes (Chewing Gum) and produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Upgrade) and Fred Berger (La La Land, Destroyer) on behalf of Automatik, Gretel & Hansel is executive produced by Sandra Yee Ling and Macdara Kelleher.
