The final ‘Halloween’ trailer has arrived!

Michael Myers has come home. In the player above, you can take a look at the final trailer for the new “Halloween,” set to hit the big screen next month. Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Inspired by John Carpenter’s 1978 horror classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride have crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the original film. Green also directs with a cast that includes, in addition to Curtis, Judy Greer, Will Patton, Nick Castle, Andi Matichak and Omar J. Dorsey.

Carpenter himself executive produces and serves as creative consultant on this film, joining forces with cinema’s current leading producer of horror, Jason Blum (“Get Out,” “Split,” “The Purge,” “Paranormal Activity”).

Jamie Lee Curtis faces off against Michael Myers on the new poster for Halloween.

Producers on “Halloween” include Malek Akkad (whose Trancas International Films has produced the Halloween series since its inception) and Bill Block (“Elysium,” “District 9”). In addition to Carpenter and Curtis, Green and McBride will executive produce under their Rough House Pictures banner. Ryan Freimman also serves in that role.

From Universal Pictures, Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions and Miramax, “Halloween” hits theaters October 19, 2018.
