Harley Quinn is back in the 'Birds of Prey' movie trailer

While Joker is preparing to hit the big screen nationwide this Friday, Warner Bros. Pictures has debuted the first trailer for the studio’s next DC Comics adventure, Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn). Check it out in the player below!

Directed by Cathy Yan, Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn) boasts the return of Margot Robbie’s Suicide Squad fan favorite, Harley Quinn. Set for release next year, the film will offer an R-rated ensemble made up of key Gotham City women. In addition to Robbie as Quinn, Birds of Prey stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain (who, in the comics, becomes a later version of Batgirl) and Rosie Perez as Gotham City Police Detective Renee Montoya. They’ll face off against the villainous Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) and Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina).

Check back for more on Birds of Prey as it becomes available and catch the film on the big screen beginning February 7, 2020. You can take a look at several newly released Birds of Prey movie posters in the gallery viewer below:
