Here come the 'Men in Black'
They may not have a Hulk (or a God of mischief, for that matter), but half of the Revengers are back together again for the new “Men in Black”. Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram today to share a first look from the set of the Sony Pictures release that reunites him with “Thor: Ragnarok” costar Tessa Thompson:
UPDATE: Tessa Thompson has posted two more shots to her own Instagram account:
Details on the new “Men in Black” are, at the moment, few and far between. Hemsworth and Thompson will play agents within the Men in Black organization in a story that expands the world of the original Barry Sonnenfeld trilogy. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, who headlined the first three films, are not involved this time around, but the film will feature the return of Emma Thompson as Agent O. Thompson previously played O in the present day sequences in “Men in Black III” with Alice Eve in the role for the scenes set in 1969.
The new “Men in Black” also features roles for Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall and Rebecca Ferguson. It is being directed by F. Gary Gray, the helmer behind films like “Straight Outta Compton” and the recent “The Fate of the Furious”. “Iron Man” scribes Matt Holloway & Art Marcum are providing the screenplay with Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald returning to produce alongside Steven Spielberg as executive producer.
Look for the new “Men in Black” on the big screen June 14, 2019.
