Joe Cornish returns with 'The Kid Who Would Be King' trailer

20th Century Fox has just brought online the first trailer for their upcoming fantasy adventure “The Kid Who Would Be King”. Check it out in the player above for a look at the second film from director Joe Cornish. Cornish wowed audiences all over the world with his debut feature, “Attack the Block,” in 2011. That film is also notable for introducing the world to “Star Wars” franchise star John Boyega.

In “The Kid Who Would Be King,” Alex (Louis Ashbourne Serkis) thinks he’s just another nobody, until he stumbles upon the mythical Sword in the Stone, Excalibur. Now, he must unite his friends and enemies into a band of knights and, together with the legendary wizard Merlin (Patrick Stewart), take on the wicked enchantress Morgana (Rebecca Ferguson). With the future at stake, Alex must become the great leader he never dreamed he could be.

Also starring Dean Chaumoo, Tom Taylor, Rhianna Dorris and Angus Imrie, “The Kid Who Would Be King” is produced by Nira Park, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. Look for it on the big screen starting January 25, 2019.
