Watch the new 'Jurassic World' short film 'Battle at Big Rock'!

Following its television premiere on FX (following a broadcast of Jurassic World), Universal Pictures has released online the full Jurassic World short film Battle at Big Rock. You can watch the full eight-minute video in the player below.

Directed by Jurassic World helmer Colin Trevorrow, Battle at Big Rock is written by Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim Uprising). Set one year after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the action unfolds in Big Rock National Park, where dinosaurs are now living in our world. The story follows a family of four whose encounter with these wild animals becomes a terrifying fight for survival.

It remains to be seen if we’ll see other Jurassic World short films like Battle at Big Rock between now and the next Jurassic World film. Trevorrow is set to return as helmer for a sixth big screen Jurassic Park adventure. Still without an official title, the blockbuster sequel is schedule to hit the big screen on June 11, 2021. In the meantime, you can explore Moviebill’s comprehensive guide to the Jurassic Park franchise right here.
