A first 'Little Women' movie clip wants you to dance

Boasting an impressive assembly of stars, writer and director Greta Gerwig’s new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women has today debuted a first clip that highlights performances from Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird) and Timothée Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name). Check it out in the player below!

Also starring Emma Watson (Harry Potter films), Florence Pugh (Midsommar), Eliza Scanlen (Sharp Objects), Laura Dern (Big Little Lies) and three time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep, Little Women draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Alcott, which unfolds as the author’s alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life. In Gerwig’s take, the beloved story of the March sisters – four young women each determined to live life on her own terms — is both timeless and timely.
