Go behind the scenes of 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil' with a new featurette

Next month, Walt Disney Pictures is bringing evil back to the big screen when Angelina Jolie returns as the dark fairy Maleficent in the all new film, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Today, the studio has released a new behind the scenes featurette from the live action fantasy and you can check it out in the player below! If you missed it, watch the teaser trailer right here.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is a fantasy adventure that picks up several years after the first Maleficent, in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora. The film continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Elle Fanning, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, Robert Lindsay, Harris Dickinson, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville.

The new film is directed by Joachim Rønning from a story by Linda Woolverton and a screenplay by Linda Woolverton and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster. It is produced by Joe Roth, Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson with Matt Smith, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Michael Vieira serving as executive producers.

Look for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil on the big screen October 18.
