The 'Men in Black: International' trailer is here to protect the Earth
Summer movie season officially kicks off tonight with the debut of the “Avengers: Endgame,” but the Marvel Studios epic is hardly the only blockbuster arriving this summer. In fact, there’s another highly anticipated franchise sequel on the way and it just happens to star two faces that should be very familiar to Marvel fans. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson star in “Men in Black” international, which just released a new trailer. Check it out in the player below!
The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, who headlined the first three films, are not involved this time around, but the film will feature the return of Emma Thompson as Agent O. Thompson previously played O in the present day sequences in “Men in Black III” with Alice Eve in the role for the scenes set in 1969.
The new “Men in Black” also features roles for Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall and Rebecca Ferguson. It is being directed by F. Gary Gray, the helmer behind films like “Straight Outta Compton” and the recent “The Fate of the Furious”. “Iron Man” scribes Matt Holloway & Art Marcum are providing the screenplay with Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald returning to produce alongside Steven Spielberg as executive producer.
Look for “Men in Black: International” on the big screen June 14, 2019.
