Sony Pictures officially titles 'Men in Black: International'

“Men in Black: International” is the official title of Sony Pictures‘ upcoming franchise continuation. The studio made the announcement today, offering a first look at the title treatment for the June 14, 2019 release. The new “MIB” reunites “Thor: Ragnarok” stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in an all-new adventure that expands the world of the original Barry Sonnenfeld trilogy.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, who headlined the first three films, are not involved this time around, but the film will feature the return of Emma Thompson as Agent O. Thompson previously played O in the present day sequences in “Men in Black III” with Alice Eve in the role for the scenes set in 1969.

The new “Men in Black” also features roles for Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall and Rebecca Ferguson. It is being directed by F. Gary Gray, the helmer behind films like “Straight Outta Compton” and the recent “The Fate of the Furious”. “Iron Man” scribes Matt Holloway & Art Marcum are providing the screenplay with Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald returning to produce alongside Steven Spielberg as executive producer.

Look for “Men in Black: International” on the big screen June 14, 2019.
