The full 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark' movie trailer has arrived!

If it’s nightmares you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place! In the player below, you can watch the full trailer for the upcoming Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark movie, based on Alvin Schwartz‘s terrifying children’s horror anthology that featured horrifying black and white illustrations by Stephen Gammell. Inspired by one of the most terrifying children’s book series of all time, “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” follows a group of young teens who must solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in their small town.

The film’s cast includes Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Abrams, Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, Lorraine Toussaint, Austin Zajur and Natalie Ganzhorn. Directed By André Øvredal (“The Autopsy of Jane Doe”), “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” is produced del Toro alongside Sean Daniel, Jason F. Brown, J. Miles Dale and Elizabeth Grave.

Look for “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” to hit the big screen August 9.
