Watch Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish in the 'Night School' trailer

Graduating high school is a significant milestone in most teenagers’ lives. For some unfortunate adults, however, a diploma was just out of reach — until now. Universal Pictures has brought online the trailer for the upcoming “Night School,” a comedy about achieving dreams, or at least your GED. Check it out in the player above.

In “Night School,” Kevin Hart’s Teddy Walker is a successful BBQ salesman, earning multiple “Employee of the Month” plaques. But on what should be the most important night of his life, his stores gets blown to smithereens. Since he dropped out of high school, there aren’t many options open for him to get a new job, so he decides to return to his old stomping grounds for his GED. There, Tiffany Haddish (“Girl’s Trip”) plays the night school teacher whose job it is to teach a group of high school dropouts to pass an exam that covers all the basics of a high school education. As you can see for yourself in the trailer, there might be some resistance to teaching an old dog new tricks.

Hart reunites with Will Packer to produce “Night School,” which has “Girl’s Trip” director Malcom D. Lee at the helm. Additional cast members include Rob Riggle, Taran Killam and Romany Malco.

“Night School” opens September 28, 2018, so prepare to head back to class and remember, it’s never to late to graduate.
