Marvel's merry merc joins Fred Savage in the 'Once Upon a Deadpool' trailer

‘Twas two week before Christmas, when all ‘cross the nation
Fans flocked to theaters, filled with elation.
They’re waiting in line and feeling so cool
For a special appearance from their friend, Mr. Pool.
His sequel debuted early in 2018,
But now something else is hitting the screen.
It’s still full of laughs and the same major stars,
But PG-13 jokes replace all the R’s.
Deadpool?!” says Mother. “That film’s for adults!
“It offers nothing but violence and childish insults!”
“Not this version!” you counter, proudly to say:
“Your complaint, my dear mother, is with the MPAA!”
It’s not just Deadpool who is spreading good holiday cheers,
This one has Fred Savage, star of “The Wonder Years”.
We don’t know,” say the youngsters, “What exactly you mean.
Your target audience, after all, is not yet seventeen.”
He’s a holiday hero. It has to be said
For Deadpool, like Santa, dresses in red.
And that’s not the only link to be had.
He also knows when it is you’ve been bad.
If DP comes calling, we’ll pray for your soul
It’s a whole lot worse than just getting coal.
Because it’s not presents he has on his back.
So our best advice: Don’t mention his sack.
Instead, good tidings to Fox, who deserves all the credit
For DP’s return in this holiday re-edit.
It’s something quite special and something you’ll love
So please watch the trailer in the player above.
When you make holiday plans, do try to remember
the Merc with a Mouth on the 12th of December.
