The final 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' movie trailer teases the saga's end

After more than four decades, the Skywalker saga is coming to an end. Following its debut during Monday Night FootballLucasfilm has released online the final trailer for December’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is directed by J.J. Abrams, who co-wrote the film’s screenplay with Chris Terrio. Returning cast members include Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams and the late Carrie Fisher. Newcomers to the cast include Naomi Ackie, Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Matt Smith and Dominic Monaghan.

Composer John Williams, who has scored every chapter in the Star Wars saga since 1977’s A New Hope, will return to a galaxy far, far away with the new film, which is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Michelle Rejwan, and executive produced by Callum Greene and Jason McGatlin. The crew includes Dan Mindel (Director of Photography), Rick Carter and Kevin Jenkins (Co-Production Designers), Michael Kaplan (Costume Designer), Neal Scanlan (Creature and Droid FX), Maryann Brandon and Stefan Grube (Editors), Roger Guyett (VFX Supervisor), Tommy Gormley (1st AD), and Victoria Mahoney (2nd Unit Director).

A Lucasfilm Ltd. and Walt Disney Pictures release, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is scheduled to hit the big screen December 20, 2019.
