Two 'Glass' clips tease superhero vs. supervillain showdowns

With just one week to go before “Glass” hits theaters, Universal Pictures has brought online two more clips from the third chapter in M. Night Shyamalan’s superhero trilogy. The series launched in 2001 with “Unbreakable” and, surprisingly, continued in 2016 with “Split”. In the top player below, you can watch as Bruce Willis’ David Dunn (now known to the public as the mysterious “Overseer”) does battle with James McAvoy’s The Horde. Just below that, a second new scene has Dunn imprisoned and at the mercy of Samuel L. Jackson’s villainous Elijah Price, aka Mr. Glass!

“Glass” also features the return of “Unbreakable” stars Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard as Dunn’s son and Price’s mother, respectively, as well as “Split” star Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke. The new film will also feature Golden Globe Award winner Sarah Paulson in an all-new role as a psychiatrist attempting to cure Dunn, Price and Crumb of their “delusions”.

“Glass” is produced by Shyamalan and Blumhouse Production’s Jason Blum, who also produced the writer/director’s previous two films for Universal. They produce again with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider, who executive produces.

“Glass” hits the big screen starting January 18, 2019.
