Watch the new trailer for Taika Waititi's anti-hate satire 'Jojo Rabbit'

Following a first trailer released in July, Fox Searchlight has brought online a new look at Jojo Rabbit, the latest film from What We Do in the Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople and Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. This time around, he’s writing, directing and starring in an adaptation of Christine Leunens‘ 2004 novel Caging Skies. Check out the trailer in the player below!

Jojo Rabbit offers a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy, Jojo (Roman Griffin Davis) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

Jojo Rabbit also stars Sam Rockwell and Rebel Wilson. Look for it on the big screen beginning October 18.
