The 'Anna and the Apocalypse' trailer teases the holiday zombie musical

An eclectic genre blend is on the way this holiday season with director John McPhail’s “Anna and the Apocalypse”. Take a look at the trailer to Orion Pictures‘ holiday themed high school zombie musical in the player above. There’s also several news stills that you can explore in the gallery viewer at the bottom of this page.

When the zombie apocalypse hits the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – teenager Anna (Ella Hunt) and her high school friends have to fight, sing and dance to survive, with the undead horde all around them. Teaming up with her best friend John (Malcolm Cumming), Anna has to fight her way through zombified snowmen, Santas, elves and Christmas shoppers to get across town to the high school, where they’ll be safe. But they soon discover that being a teenager is just as difficult as staying alive, even at the end of the world.

Also starring Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Ben Wiggins with Mark Benton and Paul Kaye, “Anna and the Apocalypse” is written by Alan McDonald & Ryan McHenry and boasts music, lyrics and score by Roddy Hart & Tommy Reilly.

Produced by Blazing Griffin and Parkhouse Pictures, “Anna and the Apocalypse” opens in a limited release November 30, 2018, expanding December 7.
