Take a new look at 'The Batman'
This weekend, Warner Bros. Pictures is gearing up for DC Fandome, a virtual fan experience that is expected to offer some substantial updates on the future of DC Comics throughout a variety of media, including big screen projects like Wonder Woman 1984, Shazam and Aquaman sequels, and Matt Reeves‘ highly anticipated take on the Dark Knight, The Batman. Today, Reeves has taken to Twitter to reveal two pieces of art tied to the October 2021 release: the logo and a promotional illustration by comic book legend Jim Lee. Check them both out in the gallery viewer below!
The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as Gotham City’s vigilante detective, Batman, who, by day, is secretly billionaire Bruce Wayne. Starring alongside Pattinson are Zoë Kravitz (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Mad Max: Fury Road) as Selina Kyle, Paul Dano (Love & Mercy, 12 Years a Slave) as Edward Nashton, Jeffrey Wright (The Hunger Games, Westworld) as the GCPD’s James Gordon, John Turturro (The Big Lebowski) as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard (The Magnificent Seven, Black Mass) as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson (Farewell Amor) as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, Andy Serkis (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Black Panther) as Alfred, and Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Dumbo) as Oswald Cobblepot.
