It's a clash of the titans in the new 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' trailer
Are you ready for a clash of the titans? Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary have just released the new trailer for 2019’s monster showdown, “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”. Check it out right here!
An epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history (including Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah), “King of the Monsters” follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
“King of the Monsters” continues the “Godzilla” continuity that began with Gareth Edwards’ 2014 release and continued in Jordan Vogt-Roberts 2014 “Kong: Skull Island”. In 2020, both title monsters are set to go head to head in Adam Wingard’s “Godzilla vs. Kong,” set for release May 22, 2020.
Directed by Mike Dougherty (“Trick ‘r Treat”) from a screenplay by Max Borenstein from a story by David Callaham, “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe and Ziyi Zhang.
“Godzilla: King of the Monsters” hits theaters May 31, 2019. Check out the new poster design below!
