The 'Happy Death Day 2U' poster offers many happy returns

Following an incredible response to the 2017 original, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have just revealed the poster for their upcoming horror sequel “Happy Death Day 2U”. This time around, our hero Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe) discovers that dying over and over was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead.

The Happy Death Day sequel is coming in 2019 and it's called Happy Death Day 2U.

Jason Blum once again produces and Christopher Landon returns to write and direct the new chapter with “Happy Death Day” executive producers Angela Mancuso and John Baldecchi joining new EP Samson Mucke (“Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse”).

The first “Happy Death Day” was released on October 13, 2017 and instantly became a box office hit. With a modest $4.8 million budget, the film would up bringing in more than $122 million internationally.

Look for “Happy Death Day 2U” to hit the big screen February 14, 2019.
