The sky's the limit on a new 'Top Gun: Maverick' poster
From Paramount Pictures, Skydance and Jerry Bruckheimer Films comes a new tease of new summer’s long awaited Top Gun sequel, Top Gun: Maverick. Below, you can take a look at a new poster for the June release and, if you missed it, click here to watch the film’s first trailer.
Although an official plot synopsis has not yet been revealed, the new film catches up with Cruise’s Navy Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. The original film, released in 1986, was directed by the late Tony Scott. Sitting in the director’s chair this time around is TRON Legacy helmer Joseph Kosinski, with whom Cruise worked on 2013’s Oblivion.
In addition to Cruise, Top Gun: Maverick is set to star Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, and Ed Harris.
Top Gun: Maverick hits theaters June 26, 2020.
