Watch 'Silencio' cast and crew discuss the new time travel thriller

Opening in theaters today, “Silencio” offers an intimate drama that also happens to be a time travel thriller set in and around the real world “Zone of Silence,” an area of the Mexican desert that has been likened to the Bermuda Triangle. “Silencio” hails from writer and director Lorena Villarreal, marking her second feature after 2004’s “Las lloronas”. Villarreal recently joined stars Melina Matthews and John Noble to chat with Moviebill about the film’s innovative approach to an intimate tale of personal loss. Check out the conversation in the player above!

In addition to detailing the origins of “Silencio,” Villareal talks about experiencing some strange issues while filming in the real world Zone of Silence. Noble, meanwhile, is no stranger to the paranormal, having famously played Professor Walter Bishop on the Bad Robot television series “Fringe”. He discusses his return to the genre, this time playing a very different character.
