The Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer teases big things for the MCU

Walt Disney Pictures has just released the first trailer for “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” director Peyton Reed‘s follow-up to his 2015 Marvel Studios action comedy. You’ll be able to catch this one on the big screen beginning July 6, 2018.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp” features the return of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michael Peña as Luis, Bobby Cannavale as Paxton, Judy Greer as Maggie Lang, Abby Ryder Fortson as Cassie Lang, Tip “T.I.” Harris as Dave and David Dastmalchian as Kurt. The sequel is also slated to feature the debut of Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.
