Watch the 'Happy Death Day 2U' trailer again and again and again and again...

After the 2017 original became an instant hit, Blumhouse is returning to the world of “Happy Death Day” with an all new big screen thriller. “Happy Death Day 2U,” set for release next Valentine’s Day, sees the return of Jessica Rothe‘s Tree Gelbman as she discovers that dying over and over was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead.

The “Happy Death Day 2U” cast also includes Israel Broussard, reprising his role as Carter Davis.

The original “Happy Death Day,” released October 13, 2017, was a tremendous box office hit, pulling in more than $122 million worldwide with a budget of under $5 million.

Jason Blum once again produces and Christopher Landon returns to write and direct this next chapter. Meanwhile, “Happy Death Day” executive producers Angela Mancuso and John Baldecchi are newly joined by executive producer Samson Mucke (“Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse”).

Blumhouse has also released several new stills from “Happy Death Day 2U” along with an official poster. You can explore them all in the gallery viewer below:
